The new rounded designed is much more efficient and has no corners. The internal heat shield allows you or your pet to touch the bottom half and it is only warm to the touch. It also keeps the back mounting plate so cool, it can be installed on ANY surface, in any house. It still provides a warm, comfortable, dry heat but will turn on/off automatically, saving precious energy. I think the best way to judge a product is if the designer and his friends use the product. All of mine do, as well as myself. Last winter , when testing the New Hound Heater Dog House Furnace, I set my insulated houses to 55° F. I could have set it warmer but with their heavy winter coats, my vet did not recommend this. I was very pleased they stayed at or near that temperature whether it was I've tried the rest and still make the best, guaranteed! |
Back in 1988, I designed the first Hound Heater. It was extremely important that the unit be safe, easy to install and extremely reliable. Since then, we have sold thousands. Each year I try to make improvements, never forgetting safety, easy installation and reliability. I have come up with a design that I am truly proud to say it is the BEST Hound Heater ever.
